The Farm Details page provides a complete record of a farm’s information, compliance status, cropping, livestock, storage, and recommendations. It is designed to help users:

  • Track farm identifiers and contact details.
  • Monitor NVZ compliance and nutrient limits.
  • Review soil analysis, cropping plans, and stewardship.
  • Manage livestock, manure, and slurry storage.
  • Access recommendations for nutrient planning.

2. Key Sections

🔹 Farm Information

  • Trading Name: Business entity (e.g., A Demo Ltd).
  • Main Address: Farm location (Brook Lane, Churton, Chester, Cheshire).
  • Main Contact: Person responsible (Alan Heifer).
  • Telephone / Email: Contact details.
  • Farm Size: 215 ha (metric units).
  • Identifiers: Holding No, SBI/CRN.
  • N Limit Derogation: Value (250) and expiry date (31/12/2025).

🔹 Compliance

  • Overall Compliance: Year‑by‑year summary.
  • Fields Exceeding N Limit: Tracks nitrogen compliance.
  • Crops Exceeding NMax Limit: Monitors crop nitrogen limits.
  • Slurry & Poultry Storage: Compliance with NVZ storage rules.

🔹 Rainfall Records

  • Monthly rainfall values (Jan–Dec).
  • Example: January 98.7 mm, July 81.3 mm, October 117.3 mm.

🔹 Fields

Each field entry includes:

  • Field Name / Parcel No.
  • Soil Texture (e.g., Sandy Loam).
  • Area (Ha) / Net Area (Ha).
  • Current Crop.
  • Analysis Date.
  • Soil Test Results: pH, P, K, Mg indices.
  • Stewardship Status.

👉 Example: Grazing Block 2 → Sandy Loam → 8.00 ha → Spring Wheat → Analysis 12/03/2025 → pH 6.2, P=2, K=2-, Mg=2.

🔹 Livestock

  • Category: e.g., beef cow, steer, calf, dairy cow.
  • Annual N & P Production (kg/year).
  • Slurry / Solid Manure Production.
  • Washwater (m³).

👉 Example: 1 dairy cow after first calf → 3,232 kg N/year, 1,408 kg P/year, 152.6 m³ slurry.

🔹 Storage

  • Storage Name / Type (e.g., Poultry, Slurry Ring Tank).
  • Capacity (m³).
  • Store Surface Area (m²).
  • Yard Area (m²).

👉 Example: Slurry Ring Tank → Non‑Poultry → Capacity 1,572 m³.

🔹 Recommendations

  • Year‑by‑year nutrient recommendations.
  • Includes crop type, sowing date, and nutrient indices (P, K, Mg).
  • Example: 2025 Grass Silage & Grazing – Clover pt2 → P=3, K=1, Mg=4.

🔹 Crops

  • Historical and planned crop records.
  • Year / Crop Name / Group / Info / Area (Ha).
