Recommendations Page

1. Purpose of the Page

The Recommendations page provides a centralized view of crop recommendations for each farm and year. It allows users to:

  • Track nutrient requirements (P, K, Mg) and cropping details.
  • Monitor sowing dates and crop types.
  • Review the status of recommendations (e.g., In progress).
  • See when each recommendation was last modified.

2. Key Sections

🔹 Recommendations Table

Each row represents a recommendation record with the following fields:

  • Farm Name & Year – e.g., Demo Farm 2025, NUE Farm 2025.
  • Description – Notes on previous crops and nutrient levels (P, K, Mg).
  • Crop – Type of crop (e.g., Spring Wheat (Feed), Winter Barley, Grass).
  • Sowing Date – Planned or actual sowing date (e.g., 12/03/2025).
  • Status – Current progress (e.g., In progress).
  • Last Modified – Date and time of the most recent update.

👉 Example entries:

  • Demo Farm 2025 Spring Wheat 25 – No previous crop, P=4, K=2-, Mg=4 → Crop: Spring Wheat (Feed) → Sowing Date: 12/03/2025 → Status: In progress → Last Modified: 28/11/2025
  • NUE Farm 2025 Winter Oilseed Rape – Seed and straw → Sowing Date: 21/08/2024 → Status: In progress → Last Modified: 20/12/2024

🔹 Navigation & Controls

  • Pagination: Current view shows 1 of 2 pages (30 items).
  • Items per page: Default is 15 items per page.
  • Actions:
    • Copy – Duplicate a recommendation record.
    • Delete – Remove a recommendation record.

3. How to Use This Page

  • Review nutrient details: Check P, K, Mg values to guide fertiliser planning.
  • Track crop progress: Use Status and Last Modified to monitor updates.
  • Manage records: Copy existing recommendations for similar crops, or delete outdated ones.
  • Navigate efficiently: Use pagination and items-per-page settings to handle larger datasets.

  • ✅ Monitor Last Modified dates to ensure records are current.
